This week we heard from Pip Witheridge, CEO and Founder of Grove Group, an English and South African-based reseller, to find out more about his organization.

BetterCloud: When was your organization founded?

Grove Group: 2005

BetterCloud: What led to the founding of your company?

Grove Group: As many organizations were outsourcing support services to India, we felt it was important to provide English language technical support services based in the UK and South Africa.

BetterCloud: How has the market changed since you started as a Google Apps reseller?

Grove Group: We’ve seen an increase in awareness of the cloud and Google Apps. More partners have come on board, there are more companies developing products and add ons for Google Apps, updates are coming out faster from Google and overall there is more competition pushing the industry forward.

BetterCloud: Does your company have a certain specialty – Industry? Location? Size?

Grove Group: We work with all sectors in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa, but our sweet spot is between 200 and 5,000 employees.

BetterCloud: Can you tell us one thing about your company we wouldn’t find out from your website?

Grove Group: Grove is an awesome place to work, and the only way to really appreciate our unique culture is to come visit us.

BetterCloud: What is your favorite BetterCloud feature? Why?

Grove Group: Definitely document management because it gives IT admins complete control and visibility over the ownership of company documents. We also love multi-domain management (MDM) because it gives admins full control of all their domains from one interface.

BetterCloud: What do you hope to see from BetterCloud in the future?

Grove Group: We’d love to see more robust tools around mobile device management.

BetterCloud: What do you hope to see from Google Apps in the future?

Grove Group: Google Voice in the UK!

BetterCloud: What are your company’s plans for the future?
