Product Tip Tuesday: Custom Triggers

Okay, okay. Today’s post is more like… Product Tip Tuesday on a Thursday.

We’re shaking things up a bit this week, we know. But this product tip is one of our most exciting ones ever, so let’s dive in!

For IT leaders, automation is the key to scaling productivity and efficiency without requiring additional headcount. For years, BetterCloud customers have relied on workflows to automate complex business processes, reduce manual tasks for IT, and improve the end user experience. Recently, BetterCloud added Custom Triggers to our workflow functionality. Customers with access to our API can trigger workflows from custom apps—beyond those natively available in BetterCloud’s integration center.

Custom Triggers is an exciting addition to the BetterCloud platform. IT pros can initiate and condition workflows from webhooks and ticketing systems like Jira and Zapier. Then, Custom Triggers pass values from bespoke integrations to BetterCloud workflow actions.
