Workday full integration and additional data protection enhancements

BetterCloud continues to innovate our products to best support your growing business. We are thrilled to announce the general availability of full integration with Workday in the platform. Additionally, We have released new ways to see how your Google assets are being shared outside of your organization to help you identify critical security risks more quickly and intuitively.

New Features

Workday full integration

Integrating Workday with BetterCloud will help you to enable zero-touch user lifecycle management (ULM) by automating user onboarding & offboarding processes, and the configuration of user settings. Here are a few examples of how BetterCloud customers can take advantage of this new integration:

• Get you close to zero-touch onboarding & offboarding through Workday events
  • ULM workflows can be initiated in a timely manner with accurate data based on HR events
  • Help you to lower risk through human error reduction and fewer consoles to interact with
• Gain centralized user view (adding more Workday user data into User360)

New data oversharing report views

Customers will be able to utilize new monitoring policy views to quickly identify the most critical data oversharing risks.

• Monitor your Google My Drive files that have been shared publicly or externally.
• Browse through individual risks to see what assets are being exposed and use filters to uncover active risks and trends about where and how your data is being shared.

New application navigation

We have aggregated the data protection-related pages under a new menu section called Data Protection, that provides navigation to a new “Data Exposure views” page, as well as existing “Files”, “Shared Drives” and “Content Scanning” pages.
